Q2. Can the voltage and current be customized?
A2. Yes. We provide customization for voltage (0.5V, 1V, 1.5V, 2V, 2.5V, 3V, 4.5V, 5V, 5.5V, 6V, etc.) and current output according to the limited panel area and your device’s requirements.
Q3. What thickness options are available?
A3. Panels can be manufactured in 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 1.8mm, and 2.0mm thicknesses, balancing durability and lightweight performance.
Q4. What materials are used for encapsulation?
A4. Options include PET (cost-effective, lightweight) and ETFE (more durable, scratch-resistant, and UV resistant).
Q5. Can the shape be customized beyond standard rectangles?
A5. Yes. We offer design flexibility for round, square, rectangular, triangular, strip, or ring-shaped panels, depending on the project.
Q6. Do these panels include back soldering pads or connectors?
A6. By default, mini SMT panels include back soldering pads. We can also provide custom connectors or pre-soldered wires upon request.
Q7. How are the panels packaged and shipped?
A7. Panels are securely packaged to prevent bending or surface scratches. Shipping options include courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS), air freight, and sea freight, depending on order volume.
Q8. Are samples & design available?
A8. Yes. We provide free design and provide custom design samples (lead time 15 days). Sample fees may apply depending on complexity.
Q9. Do SMT panels work under low-light or shaded conditions?
A9. Comparing with the common solar cell, BC solar cells has more better performance under low light. However, they are best suited for outdoor or bright indoor conditions.
